Exciting News for 2025: New Foundations Updates & Schedule!

We don't do static courses here at CBWS. Our material is always up-to date, and....every year we make changes and tweaks to all our courses and business.

This year, we are making MAJOR changes!

As we look ahead to 2025, we're excited about the coming updates to our Foundations in Babywearing Education & Consultation training!

We take our customer's feedback seriously here at CBWS.

We’ve listened to your feedback, and we'll make the course even better for 2025!

So, what’s new?

• Streamlined schedule: We’ve restructured the course schedule to facilitate easier planning and sustained peer connections throughout the year. Cohorts will follow a simplified timeline designed so you can focus on building momentum and staying engaged.
• Flexibility: We understand that life might not offer you five weeks of consistent days off and that life can be unpredictable. We're introducing options to attend alternative sessions within the same week if you anticipate missing a class. Whether it’s a family event or a scheduling conflict, this added flexibility ensures you never miss critical learning opportunities.
• Larger Community: Recognizing the value of community, we're forming larger cohorts and providing more opportunities for interaction. Expect dynamic discussions and chances to connect with peers beyond class time, creating a strong and supportive network of fellow educators.
• New Videos and Materials: We're updating our course content with new videos and materials to keep pace with developments in the babywearing field. You’ll gain access to the latest research, techniques, and tools so that you’re always equipped with cutting-edge knowledge to support your clients.
• More support: We're increasing hands-on practice opportunities and offering additional support to build your confidence and competence as a babywearing educator. Instructors always provide personalized guidance during live sessions, and now you’ll have even MORE dedicated time to refine your skills with expert feedback.

Starting in 2025, our Foundations training will be offered in three dedicated sessions: Early, Mid, and Late Year. Each session will have three cohorts. Here’s the key change: all three cohorts for each session will now run within the same week! 🎉

Why are we moving to this new format?

The goal is simple: to create a more cohesive and connected learning experience for everyone. By aligning the cohorts within the same week, we can:

• Foster a sense of community: Whether you’re in the morning, afternoon, or weekend cohort, you’ll be part of a larger group learning together. You’ll all watch the same content and participate in discussions within the same timeframe, making it easier to share insights and ideas across cohorts. Additionally, you'll have a smaller cohort for your live sessions, providing you with personalized feedback and opportunities to dive deep into the material and have your questions answered in real-time.
• More flexibility, less confusion: This format offers you the flexibility to choose the days/time that works best for you—morning, afternoon, or weekend—keeping your schedule consistent. The bonus here is that you may switch to another cohort session that week when you have a planned event or commitment. No more worrying about falling behind, missing critical discussions, or not getting a chance to be in the live sessions because your cohort runs weeks apart from others.
• Enriched Experience: With everyone working through the same material simultaneously, the course portal and IG conversations will be richer and more engaging. You’ll get the chance to hear fresh perspectives and engage with your colleagues on a deeper level. This new format will also provide more sustained support from the CBWS course mentor.

What does this mean for you?

You’ll still pick the cohort that works best for your schedule—whether that’s the Morning Cohort, Afternoon Cohort, or Weekend Cohort—but now all three options will follow the same timeline, ensuring you never miss out on the energy of the full group experience even if you have a prior commitment.
