PROGRESSIONS TRAINING
Grow your skills.
Grow your confidence.
Grow your babywearing work.
● ● ●
Progressions is your next level babywearing training. If you finished Foundations and you are thinking “okay, what is next,” this is it. You build on everything you learned, go deeper into how babies experience being carried, add more carriers to your toolbox, and sharpen your teaching in a way that actually feels doable.
This course is fully evergreen. Watch the videos in your own time. Come to Joanna’s office hours if you want extra help, troubleshooting, or you just want to talk something through with someone who has seen it all.
What Progressions Is Really About
It is about giving you more. More clarity. More technique. More support. Foundations got you started. Progressions fills in the gaps and expands your skill set so you can show up for families with even more confidence.
This is not about reinventing your teaching. It is about strengthening what you already know and adding all the things you have been wanting to learn but have not had the time or the place for.
Grow Your Skills. Strengthen Your Teaching. Support Families Better.
Here is what you’ll learn in the Progressions Training:
- A deeper understanding of how babies learn through being carried, with clear explanations of the vestibular and proprioceptive systems, behavior states, prosocial behaviors, and attachment.
- Expanded carrier skills beyond Foundations, including long wrap variations, hip and side carries, rings, onbuhimo, torso carries, pouches, and updated back carries.
- Updated reviews of key tying skills like slipknot, slipknot hip carry, rucksack variations, and flat reef knot so your hands stay confident and steady.
- How to support families in special circumstances and adapt your teaching based on what is happening in real life.
- Clear communication skills and ways to create a positive, grounded experience for parents who may be overwhelmed or unsure.
- Attachment and prenatal attachment concepts, including how to discuss bonding, comfort, and expectations with families.
- Professional development modules that help you strengthen your role, clarify your goals, and understand how to work in a way that feels sustainable.
- Optional office hours with Joanna where you can ask questions, bring tricky client situations, or get help with anything you want to practice.
- Evergreen access so you can learn at your own pace and return to the videos when you need a refresher.
What You’ll Walk Away With
By the end of Progressions, participants will feel more capable, confident, and supported in their work as babywearing educators.
They will gain a broader range of carrier skills, know how to teach more efficiently and clearly, understand the sensory and developmental foundations that shape how babies experience being carried, and feel more prepared to support families with different needs.
Participants will be able to adapt their teaching to real families, communicate with clarity, offer grounded support, and use evidence-based concepts to guide their decisions. And with evergreen access plus Joanna’s office hours, they can continue to grow at the pace that fits their own work and life.
