The Weekend You've Been Waiting For: Introducing The Babywearing Weekend 2026

Last year, we cleared the floor, set the slides aside, and asked a simple question:

What if we got all the professionals in the same room, sharing their unique perspectives and exploring the real-world, interdisciplinary applications of babywearing?

HELD was our answer: a one-day, hands-on lab that braided educators and clinicians into one conversation.

It worked. It was amazing, actually. But one day wasn’t enough.

So HELD is growing up.

Introducing The Babywearing Weekend (2026)

This year, we're expanding HELD to include more in-depth education and exploration for babywearing educators. The goal is simple: richer conversations, deeper clinical reasoning, and more practical collaboration with allied professions.

Friday & Sunday: Educators Only

Protected time to slow down and get the reps that matter. In the HELD Carrier Lab, we compare carriers honestly on diverse bodies, stress-test features in real-life constraints, and practice decision-making for complex consults.

Sunday closes with an Educator Master Class with Joanna, exploring special topics like toddler wearing, weather-friendly wearing, and more.

Saturday: HELD Interdisciplinary Day

This is the bridge. Educators sit shoulder-to-shoulder with pediatric PT/OT, IBCLCs, pelvic health pros, doulas, and more to work real cases together.

We build shared language and scope-safe plans that travel from clinic to home visit so families feel supported, not shuffled.

Allied professionals, the Saturday HELD experience is for you: learn more here.

Why We Built This

Educators kept telling us the same thing: you want more time, more context, real collaboration, and education that evolves as the field evolves.

The Babywearing Weekend is our response. Immersive without being overwhelming. Collaborative without being diluted.
